Texas
When we decided to move from the Kansas City area, we purposefully chose Texas due to its weather, its geographic diversity, the many opportunities here, and did I mention the weather?
We have visited most of the most populous areas of Texas, like Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin and lived in 2 of these. We have talked about the geological diversity of the United States, but except for mountains and cold weather, Texas is like a microcosm of the U.S.
You have the beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, the rolling hills and wineries found in Hill Country and the tall pines of East Texas. You have the Keep it Weird vibe in Austin (not to mention its bats), and you have the true cowboy lands of West Texas. We even have “the little Grand Canyon” Palo Duro Canyon State Park
Clearly, we love Texas. Afterall, we live here!
But, when we decided to move, we decided Texas was the place for more opportunities. After all, everything is bigger in Texas! Following are a few experiences from across the state. We also have experiences to enjoy in Dallas, Austin, and Galveston.
